Welcome!
Join us on our journey around the apiary.
As spring starts to warm the ground and the first peaks of a red tinge to the red maples, the bees are starting to venture outside their warm hives to get access to some of the early pollens that are available.
We humans have been busy in our little hives also, getting ready for the boom of spring always takes a lot of time. Woodenware is being built, painted, and stored. Frames are being stapled together and stored.
Something we’re doing is trying to help our beginner beekeepers as they go about prepping for their first season. Benjamin walks us through how to build a box in our first video. We hope this helps guide them through one way to build a super. More videos are coming as we find time to get them ready.

The image above has a queen cell hanging from the bottom of the frame.
